Ron Taggart started Ron Taggart Contractors. Started with a flat deck that you had to shovel off the material. He soon grew tire of that bought a top deck truck and built a homemade loader for the front of a tractor

We bought Canterbury Drainage Services.
The first Christchurch Earthquake hit the city. We became more involved with demolition and rebuild of the city.
We rebranded, which brought all on divisions together.
We won the CCNZ Environmental Award with our effort to help the native birds on the Ashley River.
We won the CCNZ Most Progressive Company Award as well as the Environmental Award.
We bought Trio Excavators which helps us expanded our Water and Services division.
We won the NZDAA Best Demolition Project under $1M for our work on the Christchurch District Health Board's Diabetes Building.
We are the first company in the world to achieve Eco Label's Construction and Demolition Waste Management accreditation.
