Taggart is family-owned and has been operating in Canterbury since 1953 and is continually growing and diversifying into other areas. We are looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic Civil's team.
Qualifications and training:
Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience or
New Zealand Certificate Level 5 - Infrastructure Works - Contract Management and
New Zealand Certificate Level 5 - Infrastructure Works - Projects
Clean New Zealand Drivers Licence – Class 1.
Understanding of NZS3910:2013
Working knowledge of the Resource Management Act, Health and Safety in Employment Act.
Sound understanding and experience with Risk Management.
In addition, we are looking for someone that has:
Minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management in the construction industry, preferably in earthworks.
Strong organisational skills.
Sound financial project management skills and competent in cost to complete processes.
Proficient user in MS Word, Excel, Project and quality management systems.
Great planning and negotiation skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to lead by example.
Great leadership and staff management skills.
You will be based in our Belfast Office and will be required to visit sites to undertake various aspects of your role.
